We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, gemstone details, images and specifications are accurate. However, natural variations may occur:

• Gemstones may differ slightly in colour, clarity or pattern
• Measurements are approximate
• Colours may vary due to screen settings

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time.

Pricing & payments

All prices are listed in AUD unless stated otherwise. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that all information provided is accurate and complete. Payments are processed in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors.

Orders & acceptance

An order is accepted only when:

• Payment is successfully processed
• You receive an order confirmation email

We may cancel an order if:

• The product is unavailable
• There is a pricing or listing error
• Fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected

If an order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund in accordance with the ACL.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, weather or unforeseen events. Risk of loss transfers to you once the order is handed to the carrier, except where otherwise required by law. We are not liable for delays outside our control.

Returns, refunds & consumer guarantees

Your rights are protected under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a remedy if the product is faulty, not as described or if the wrong item was supplied.

Custom & personalised jewellery

Custom-made items cannot be returned for change of mind, including:

• Custom heirloom pieces
• Engraved items
• Gemstone-specific designs
• Bespoke settings

If a custom item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with the ACL. Full details are available in our Returns Policy.

Custom & heirloom jewellery

By commissioning a custom piece, you acknowledge that:

• Natural gemstone variations are expected
• Production times may vary
• Deposits may be non-refundable
• Final designs cannot be altered once approved

We reserve the right to decline custom requests that are unsafe, unethical or unworkable.

Intellectual property

All content on this website—including images, text, designs, logos and product descriptions—is protected under Australian Copyright Law and is the property of J.C. Lindley Gems & Jewellery. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability
